Seasonal Ceremonies

Celebrating the cycles of the Earth + the wheel of the year

At Be Rooted Healing Arts, our work follows the wisdom of the seasons. These seasonal events are an invitation to pause, reflect, celebrate, and connect—with ourselves, one another, and the natural rhythms of the earth.

From the winter stillness to the high summer sun, these gatherings are rooted in the ancient practice of honoring the Wheel of the Year—following the traditional Irish tradition of celebrating the cycle of 8 sacred seasonal markers. This is a beautiful time to pause and reflect, 8 times a year, in community. These celebrations are in collaboration with other practitioners to bring a variety of mindfulness and somatic practices, creativity and connection with the seasons.

Beginning November 1- SAMHAIN

Each seasonal gathering offers a unique blend of:

  • Ceremony & Ritual rooted in ancestral practices

  • Community connection in circle with others

  • Creative expression, reflection, and embodied presence

  • Collaborations with guest facilitators, artists, and healers

  • Intentional rest and renewal as a form of resistance and remembrance

Events often include grounding meditations, intention setting, elemental rituals, gentle movement, Reiki, and group practices tied to the energetic themes of the season.

What are seasonal celebrations?

A Living Practice

These events are part of Tekla’s ongoing commitment to cyclical living—offering spaces for reflection and collective care that align with nature’s rhythms.

There is no rush, no productivity to chase—only an invitation to slow down, be in your body, and remember what it feels like to live in rhythm with the earth.

Seasonal events are often co-created with other local practitioners, artists, and guides—bringing fresh wisdom, creativity, and ancestral knowledge into the space.

From flower altar building to sound healing to sacred rest—each gathering becomes a living expression of healing arts in community.
