Seasonal Ceremonies
Celebrating the cycles of the Earth + the wheel of the year
At Be Rooted Healing Arts, our work follows the wisdom of the seasons. These seasonal events are an invitation to pause, reflect, celebrate, and connect—with ourselves, one another, and the natural rhythms of the earth.
From the winter stillness to the high summer sun, these gatherings are rooted in the ancient practice of honoring the Wheel of the Year—following the traditional Irish tradition of celebrating the cycle of 8 sacred seasonal markers. This is a beautiful time to pause and reflect, 8 times a year, in community. These celebrations are in collaboration with other practitioners to bring a variety of mindfulness and somatic practices, creativity and connection with the seasons.
Saturday, January 31, 6:00pm:
Register here: Imbolc + Chinese New Year
Each seasonal gathering offers a unique blend of:
Ceremony & Ritual rooted in ancestral practices
Community connection in circle with others
Creative expression, reflection, and embodied presence
Collaborations with guest facilitators, artists, and healers
Intentional rest and renewal as a form of resistance and remembrance
Events often include grounding meditations, intention setting, elemental rituals, gentle movement, Reiki, and group practices tied to the energetic themes of the season.
What are seasonal celebrations?
Imbolc + Chinese New Year
The next ceremony is on January 31, to celebrate Imbolc or Brigid’s Day, traditionally February 1st, from the Irish tradition, honoring goddess and saint Brigid, and the coming spring. We will create Brigid crosses together as part of the ceremony. We will also be celebrating the Chinese New Year, the year of the Fire Horse, which falls on February 17th. 2026 is both a 10 year of creation and reinstating powerful source code energies, as well as a 1 year of new beginnings!
2+0+2+6= 10 = 1+0+=1
The element of fire brings both powerful death and rebirth energies. Fire is also alchemical supporting us to transform and transmute all that has complete or no longer serves us. Our beautiful fire horse this year is poised to help us ride forward with strength, courage, grace, sovereignty, and freedom! Register Here
Seasonal events are often co-created with other local practitioners, artists, and guides—bringing fresh wisdom, creativity, and ancestral knowledge into the space.
From flower altar building to sound healing to sacred rest—each gathering becomes a living expression of healing arts in community.
Community-Led, Intentionally Held
Co-Host Tisha for Imbolc + Chinese New Year
Tekla Ayers and Tisha Lin Fenixstar of Fenixstar Universal look forward to bringing two of our ancestral traditions, the Irish tradition and wheel of the year ceremony of Imbolc, and the Chinese New Year. Tisha and Tekla have been in women’s circles, intentional rest circles, and ceremonies together now for years. Register for the ceremony on Saturday, January 31 today. Tisha brings her gifts as a starseed descendant of shamans and dragons. She supports people to heal transgenerational wounds, break toxic cycles & contracts, clear parasitic energy, and recalibrate to full sovereignty and freedom. She facilitates cosmic remembrance, healing, and powerful activations in the quantum field working with light frequencies, geometries, dragon wisdom, and multidimensional transmissions. Tisha will be bringing guided meditation and deep wisdom to the ceremony.
Co-Host Laura for Winter Solstice
Laura Palmer of Wild Sol Sisters, joins Tekla to co-host the Winter Solstice Ceremony on Sunday, December 21st. Laura has been on her own healing journey, taking ownership of her own healing, while being an entrepreneur and mom of a young daughter. Laura shares Tekla’s love of the power of Reiki, the healing power of nature and hiking, and the deep healing that comes from being part of intentional circles of women. The Be Rooted program + Reiki supported Laura to connect even more with her mind/body/spirit, to be embodied and notice the power of energetic release through self-Reiki. Laura is an avid writer and has shared her journaling, creativity and practices by creating journals and affirmation cards. In the future, Wild Sol Sisters will be offering hikes and retreats for women.
Co-Host Rebecca for Samhain
Tekla Ayers and Rebecca Peterson have been friends for a decade, meeting when Tekla first moved to Colorado. They share a love for women’s circles, prenatal yoga, ceremony, birth, doula work, retreats, and the power of stillness in a community of women to honor the seasons. From Rebecca and the importance of communing with other women, to “honor the way that being in circle rebalances the nervous system, feeds the feminine soul, honors the divine mother, and creates community and inclusivity. I believe that being in community with other woman is not just healing, it's a necessity in today’s world where the sacred has a way of being forgotten.” Tekla and Rebecca are excited to offer an evening of ceremony, connection, yoga nidra with Reiki, and honoring the ancestors together in circle.
